Optimism, hope, new life into an old, tired and corrupt institution. That's a few of the kudos thrown the great Miss Pelosi's way. Even Rush Limbaugh is praising this lady. THAT'S how sold the American people are on this petite and lovely little dynamo. It's been a long time since someone made the American people care abotu Washington again, the way Nancy has.

Ummmm.....I'm sincerely happy you are brimming with hope & optimism. That's always a positive state of mind.
What isn't so clear is what exactly you thing Pelosi has saved washington from?? I think she's a fine lady, & hails from the state where I was born, but why were you so devoid of hope about America?
We still have problems that need to be addressed & always will as long as people still inhabit this planet, but from my point of view this is still a pretty special place to call my home!
Bush has made mistakes in handling the no win situation we faced in Iraq. Doesn't mean our country is a piece of garbage for attempting to make the world safer.
While I agree many young men & women have paid the ultimate price on OUR behalf & as a veteran myself I support them, respect them, and want a speedy resolution to our involvement in Iraq.
I also know we must protect what we have or it will be taken from us!! The men & women serving us in the armed forces showed their courage & commitment to America by enlisting to serve as SOLDIERS & sadly soldiers are called upon to take arms when needed.
Politics is an ugly business, not for the faint hearted , naive, or easily disillusioned. You will always be upset w something our government does but hey how often can you please 300 million people at the same time.Focus on the positive & try to understand there IS corruption in politics, & in some government affairs, & in some businesses, & in some religious leaders, & in every other activity involving human beings.....
Nancy Pelosi, regardless of her enthusiasm & drive can't change that simple fact....but don't lose hope,America is still the best country in the world to call home!!

I hope you are being sarcastic because if not, you need to open your eyes. She doesnt give a damn about the average American, no matter how much she claims she does. I can't wait until she raises my taxes and freezes my pay because I am the military and thats the first thing the democrats will do. Democrats have the same issues of corruption that the Republicans so the holier than thou attitude from democrats is bull.

She has come through with what she promised n her first 100 hours which is really encouraging. She has so far worked with republicans well enough to get it done.. I am more optimistic that our house and senate can work together and learn from the past few years!
