when was the last time you had a laundry lady do your laundry for you?

We had our laundry done by a laundry service just last week.

Althougth when I younger, my mother often had a laundry service pick up our laundry to complete, we got out of the habit as I got older, and could do my own laundry.

However, in the past few weeks, my mother has gotten sick, and has needed to go into the hospital for a week, and I have managed to break my left wrist (which required surgery to fix). Therefore, neither one of us were up to the task of laundry.

Actually, I think that we will continue to get our laundry done by a service. I like the idea of not having to worry about it. And, it costs about the same if I had to take the laundry to a laundrymat to complete.

The only laundry lady I ever had was my wonderful mother. I moved out of her house 20 yrs ago, so that is the last time the laundry lady did my laundry.

I have never had a laundry lady do laundry for me. In my entire life my laundry has been done by two people -

1. My wonderful mother
2. My loving wife

Norman, I have done ironing, laundry and cleaning on a part time basis for the public for years! good extra income!
Families are so busy today, they had rather free time up on household chores to have more funtime. I do it very professional, bag it, tag it and deliver it. So if you are in need of someone to help you, dont feel bad about it, it is your money spend it how you want too!
