You have a normal problem and it is OK. It sounds like you are just concentrating to hard on getting the condom on. You just need more practice to putting it on. Have it ready, relax and don't get anxious about hurrying to put it on. If the erection does down then just put your mind back to your girl friend, and have her stroke it and feel you for a few minutes... It will grow. I commend you for loving your girl friend enough to use protection for you and her. This problem is not about you or your girlfriend or how you feel about her. It is just you get so excited about the time it takes you to put it on. Maybe yo can have your girlfriend to put it on you while you are on your back and erection.. she can touch and pay attention as she rolls the condom onto your erection. Good luck

Maybe you have some worries/anxietys or insecurties about the relationship. Instead of heading straight for sex maybe work on the foreplay and go from there. Have a bath together, give her a massage that sort of thing. When your more relaxed, it will happen without you thinking about it. As with condoms, change brands or type, there are some nice lubricants about to that heighten sensitivity like durex feel, heat too. Get your partner involved in putting on condom for you.

You can do a couple things.....

1. This is a self-perpetuating mental thing for you now. You are thinking about the problem happening, so it ends up happening. You have got to think about something else to keep focused on her sexy body...whatever. You just can't think about "my erection going down". If you do, that's an automatic penis deflater.

2. Get the condom out of the package prior to initiating lovemaking. This will make it take much less time to put on.

3. Try having your girlfriend/spouse put the condom on your erection while she continues to stimulate you. Your hands can be busy exploring her body, breasts, or vagina and keep your erection solid and your interest up too.

4. Viagra will help, but you don't have an erectile dysfunction problem and that is what viagra is designed to treat. You have a mental confidence problem.

Having her put the condom on will probably take care of the problem, but it is your responsibility to avoid thoughts or concerns about losing your erection. That'll make it happen for sure.

You could try spicing it up a little, instead of you putting on let your girlfriend put it on you. Also try different condoms some have a desensitising ointment on them.

it happens more often than you think. unfortunately protection is not a sexy device at all... don't be stressed by this. ask your girl friend to help you lovingly and be loving to her
