I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 15. A reproductive endocrinologist put me on the birth control pill since, I watch my weight and excercise reguarly. When I wanted to get pregnant, I stopped birthcontrol and was put immediately on clomid. I got pregnant within two months and now have a happy healthy two year old! If your PCOS is well managed you should not have problems. Good luck!!

OH, and btw, sex has never been painful for me. and you can't "remove pcos" its a disease, it never goes away, it can only be managed by following your doctors orders. I have known other people with this that have had a lot of problems, I seriously think it depends on your doctor too, make sure you are properly managing it!

pcos its not good. I've had it ended up with surgery to cut off my right Fallopian tube. In my case it was endometriosis related. Anyway if you want to fall pregnant best to remove pocs ASAP by an OBGYN. The poisons in the infected areas will cause pregnancy / conception linked problems such as miscarriage & ectopic pregnancies. You're young you'd love to be a mum when you're ready. Don't hesitate to fix this problem now because this medical condition in the worst case scenario can kill you. Take care. 99

There are now drugs that will alleviate symptoms and can lead to pregnancy. Watch the diabetes. My granddaughter has it and now has three children.
