Whenever my gold gourami eats flake food, he makes a loud clicking noise. He is only 2 1/2 in. long.
Is this normal?

Yes it's normal, I don't know if it is their jaw or if that is how that talk or what though.

yeah, they click.. most of them do. bettas do it too. It's some form of communication.
