I guess the keyword here is "individually"...

Highlight everything in the address bar, and delete it. There should be a small arrow just to the right of the address bar that's pointing down. Click on that.
Once you see the site / address you want to remove, move your mouse over it and on the keyboard hit the [Delete] key - it's above the arrow keys in a 6-pack of keys.

Hope this helps, and I hope you're using Firefox cause it's faster and safer than IE...

Tools....Internet Options, and delete (under history)
or
Open your history, right click and delete each one
