We have bought all kinds of carpet cleaners but none work as good as the RUG DOCTOR.
We rented it a few days ago as our little one had been ill all down the stairs and it's an amazing bit of kit.
The cost is £20 for 24 hours and you can do your mattress with it and everything and dry in about 1 hours max.

I bought a Vax Rapid XL carpet shampooer on Ebay for £149 and it is ab fab.Does a brilliant job and is so simple to use...even my wife can use it(sexist).
Seriously you could do a lot worse and pay £40-£50 more.

you can buy your hoover cleaners, but I prefer my rainbow vacuume and the carpet cleaner that you can buy that attaches to it. lots of suction, no bags. and if your financially capable. it is expensive. but then it s worth every penny.. about $2000.00
