Is it safe? How far from Surfers Paridise? Is it a nice area? Would you live there?

Carrara is a suburb on the Gold Coast, just above Merrimac.

Carrara is a nice place, nothing there but houses and maybe a couple of corner shops, its in the central part of the GC, Robina is about 5min south and that has big shops, Surfers is about 15mins east, Nerang is about 5min north, it is once of the more cheaper parts becouse there is nothing there, http://www.whereis.com.au will show you. i have not heard any bad thing about carrara unlike nerang and surfers

I have relations that live there it is quiet peaceful & they assure me it is one of the safest places on theGold Coast.
