Try putting flour down in the doorways. That way if the snake crosses the doorway you will at least have an idea of what room it is in. Also try looking at night as that is when it is more likely to be active. As the others said, look in tight places. You would be surprised at how small of a place they can fit into.

Look again. Get into the attic/crawlspace with a flashlight. Look in the back of closests. If you can get under the house, check under there, especially around the drains from bathrooms and kitchen. He'll look for water before he looks for food most likely.
Also, and most importantly, if you have cats or dogs keep a close eye on them, you don't want them to go missing in the middle of the night. Trust me, it happens, a guy I knew lost his girlfriend's cat once.... they found it's flea collar about a week later, the snake had only been out for a short time, but wasn't watched with 100% vigilance.

Well you must have a pretty good sized house if you can't find a 12 ft Snake. If you live in a warm area just look in dark areas or anyroom where its usally cool. Most snakes hide in the shade to stop from overheating. Thats why you have to refill thier water everyday. Also you can try turning up the heat in your home and wait. It may come out to find a better area too cool off.

LOL on the bra drawer. The snake knows a comfortable place to lay when it sees one.
On the positive side, you won't have any mouse or rat problems.
I would suggest calling up the local pet shop and asking, or find a group that deals with pythons and ask your question there. If you bought your snake at a pet shop call it up and ask if the snake ever got loose before and how they delt with it.

I lost a 13 foot burmese python once and i ended up finding it in the walls. Check in unusual places. tight and warm places. And if you ever had a rat problem somewhere in ur house check there.
Just hope its not small enough to go down a drain to, because then u will have a problem.
