Well, I suppose bordatello (kennel cough) is common.
There's hip dysplasia.
Bloat is common in large dogs.

The two most common diseases in dogs are Mange - a skin disease that causes the dog to scratch and lose its hair and irritate its skin, and distemper - an infectious viral disease normally found in young dogs (puppies).

Parvovirus... what dogs are vaccinated against as pups and in their annual boosters... often infected through rat urine..i.e drinking water that rats have been near..
