Genesis or Job. The oldest book in the world is easilly the Bible. But since the Bible is itself a collection of books, the oldest 'book' then would be the book of Genesis written circa 1445 B.C. by a Jew trained in ancient Egypt called Moses. However, judging from the manners and customs recorded in the text and other evidence, the book of Job may well be older than Genesis.

Probably one of the earlier books of the bible. You know I crashed on my Bible test many years ago...
But it may have been some record-books kept by the Sumarians?
