as a white person, go to philadelphia, then ask this question. the answer won't be hard to find. i spent two years in a suburb west of philly, and didn't realize how much hate there was until i lived there. i think racism should be a word asked about without a color barrier. yes it is a big prpblem!!!

No it is not worse than other countries. We do have a tendency to broadcast all of our problems to the world so we are just more scrutinized. We do have race relation problems no doubt if there were a way not to I would like to hear it. We have so many different races in this country I don't think you could find a nation or race that is not represented. For the most part we all just get on with life.Where the problem starts is with old resentments on either side with that mainly being white, black, brown and red. History just does not die quietly and ghosts of the past haunt the present and future.

I t depends on what category of racism you are referring to. Color of skin, religious belief or nationality. I personnel think the USA suffers the highest degree of racism because we are never allowed to talk about it honestly. Since the race riots of the 50's and 60's we have adapted a thing called politically correct. Which binds us in our constitutional right of freedom of speech. We have people like Oprah on TV who has corrupted this issue by backhandedly shaming white people in this country to not speak out about the way they really feel. That is why we as the people of this country have no power because we are not allowed to speak out what we feel. Our feels are based on news polls. The news runs a poll and tells us how we as a country feel and we are shamed if we don't agree. So we walk blinding being lead. Then if the opinion is found to be wrong then we say "Well I'm only one person what can I do". Do you realize the strength we have in this country if all of those only one persons become united. Look at what happened to the Dixie Chicks because they spook out and they had to go to a foreign country to do that.

Yes it is. I watched an HBO special that featured a show called, "Hate.com". I don't know if you have seen it. It showed children being taught to shoot and hate as early as age 3. Supremest still have a voice. So as long as children are being taught to hate, before they get to know someone, then yes racism will be a big problem. I think it worse here, and the rest of the world doesn't view us with kind eyes either. It scared me to know I'm hated that much by some, not all.

No, hell no.
I see more white girls in the back of cars with black guys driving than I see white gals in cars with white guys.

I was at Wal-Mart last week and saw a white couple with a white baby. The sudden change almost made me faint.

Racism isn't a big problem in America, it's reverse racism that is a big problem.

Racism in America is a huge problem, all one has to do is look at what has happened to the American Indian, Black and Hispanic. and is still happening today. Tolerant, not even close.

Yes it is, I don't think that it is out in the open as much as it used to be but underlying decisions are made involving racism all the time. This goes for all races as I think there is racism from all.
