In the last ODI against England Brad Hodge got a run. he took two great catches but got a duck. Do you think he should be playing for Australia or should someone younger like Cosgrove get blooded now for the future?

Even though Hodge scored a double century on debut against India i dont rate him.. i mean i could score a double century against India

Hodge has had his chance in ODI cricket and has failed - he averaged only 17 coming into that match, and his duck will not help that. If he plays for Australia again, it may only be in test cricket.

This would indeed have been a good chance to blood a youngster for the future. Perhaps not Cosgrove as he is a bit out of touch at the moment, perhaps Voges, either one of those 2. We may yet see those guys play in this series to help the selectors pick the side for the world cup.

And finally...you both need to check your facts first!!!

Brad Hodge did not socre a double century against India, he did it against South Africa in Perth, December 2005. He socred 203 not out in the 2nd innings

Sam - Ricky Ponting has actually scored 2 double centuries against India in consecutive matches - 242 in Adelaide and 257 in Melbourne, both in December 2003.

i think, he should replace Ricky Ponting as captain, bcoz he got a double century agaist India, and Ricky couldn't, in his debut against India.....
