I hear all the time that Americans wish they lived somewhere else, and that they hate living in USA , but I never hear people from Britain ever really complain about not wanting to live in U.K., is it true?

Sometimes I wished that I was living in New Zea land, especially after such damage TV programs like big brother has done to our country's reputation.
Thanks to new Labour, Britain has become a very restrictive place to live. Our civil liberties are being eroded away, under the pretence of security measures.
A lot of people I talk to tell me the same fear, that our country is becoming a capitalist tyranny.
Our politicians cannot be trusted, whilst the class system is still in place.
Money talks while principles and ideals are balked, and the rich get richer while the poor's voice cannot be heard.
Britain has become even more of an intolerant country, for it discriminates against its own people, the very vulnerable of our society, consisting of the mentally ill, the homeless, the unskilled worker, the aged, carers, motorists and anyone else who is working class and does not fit into their capitalist new order.

We are happy - even if a little cold, right now.
Whilst people may moan (here and in the US), the alternatives are often no more appealing and if they were really that passionate about not wanting to be there, they are free to leave! The UK (and US for that matter) has had open doors for many who understand that this way of life is better, for them, than their current situation.
However, there is nothing worse than hearing about people who seem to want to bring their way of life and impose it on us. I have no issue with migrants of any description, but it really gets my goat to hear things like the move to introduce/impose Sharia Law to the nation which gave modern Adverserial Law to the world. Come here by all means, but do so to enjoy our way of life (whilst enriching it with your presence); do not try to change what you have come to join.
The Aussie PM said it best - not an easy thing to say these days.

We AMericans may say it, but the English actual do it. There seem to be a lot of English here in California. THe big thing in England now is that there is a massive exodus towards countries like Spain. I think the report states it was due to cost of living in London. Besides, most Americans are to arrogant to admit there own country is crappy.

I have no issues with living here, was born and raised in London and although it has its negatives (crazy neighbours, an abundance of chavs, ignorant people) there are also bonuses (chippies everywhere!) I've never lived anywhere else and would love to travel but for the most part I'm happy here!

Thats not true, there are more British people moving to other parts of the world. Totally sick of what their great country has become. Just take a look at all the for sale signs up in your area.
If I could financially afford to move, I would.

I am an American living in the UK. I like your sense of humor and the way you don't go too far with religion. The weather ain't great and everything is a little too small but all in all I like this little place. Don't be too hard on yourself.

I have lived in numerous places, but always glad to get back to the UK.
This attitude is changing. The UK is changing beyong recognition, and thousands are emigrating each year because it is no longer the country that they love.

Sometimes, but all countries have their problems.
I can cope with the weather, but in the past few years I have become increasingly fed up with all of the energy, water and telephone companies and their appaulling customer service. It seems that everybody in this counrty is out to rob you. If its not taxes, its sky tv, if its not sky tv, its scottish power. All pains in the bum.

But at least we don't have to live with the embrassment of having GW in charge!

btw lee, dont generalise about muslims please, as a muslim myself, i dont have a problem with ppl calling xmas lights 'xmas lights'.. not everyone is the same, so dont judge without knowing.
