Sometimes we ask ourselves a question then spend years seeking the answer. Sometimes we think of something then spend years inventing it or exploring the thought. What has been that one idea in your head that has spurred you on?

Well not thought or question exactly but a statement. A musing by the writer Scott Adams. One of his characters explains the different levels of awareness. Levels 1- 5 in the book God's Debris.

1- awarness of self
2- awareness of others
3- awareness of our surroundings ( most people )
4- awareness that things arent always as they seem, the cynic(cannot reconcile relgion with logic)
5- awareness that all reality is generated in "MY" mind ie. the mind is an illusion generator. Logic and religion arent necessarily two opposing forces.

Ever since I was quite young, I have had the thought that it's more satisfying to do things for my own reasons, than to copy others simply because the majority wants it a certain way. I had my own interests and role models, based on people I admired, and books I read. The fact that my family did not have a TV, helped, since we weren't being influenced by advertising.

Being eccentric is very satisfying, because you don't have to pretend to be someone you aren't. Peer pressure isn't a problem when you don't care about what's 'hot'. Art and creativity are important to me, and I follow my own style.

Would I have lived the best life possible if I were to die tomorrow?
This question has motivated me to live like there is no tomorrow. I have, as a result, lived more of a life than people three times my age, and I have absolutely no regrets! I can truly say I am 100% happy with my life!!

How come the one who breaks up with the other has the upper hand and is more apt to find more than 10 lovers before the one dumped finds one. For loves sake!

To pray for understanding in all situations.

This is an ongoing one......

It
-allows forgiveness to be pure and from my heart
- it opens my mind to unexpected awarenesses
-it makes me stop and listen (mindfullness)
-it slows life to a state of gratitude
-it causes awareness of the Universal in all things
-It causes me to think deeply and therefore make brave jumps in my pursuit of painting
Most important it allows me to see the good in people...their humanity and their hearts
I am able to LOVE DEEPLY
NAMASTE
