Yup, best way: it is difficult for people to understand their prolem, but you have now solved half your problem by recognizing your prob. Speak for at least one hour in your room, infront of the mirror and restart your dialogue everytime you see you are stuttering or your words are mixed, as you get satisfied with your conversation. And then try talking in that manner with your best friends and ask them for reminders if you went too fast, so that will help you in a couple of weeks to get your speaking very clear and soft, as you want. Best of luck!

what lavender pink said I have a speaking problem as well, like I can repeat a letter in a word or a word multiple times, without wanting, it's annoying, sometimes I get blocked. When it happens, take a deep breath, and speak SLOOOWWLY And try singing, it help yes. But the main thing, speak SLOOOWWWLLYYYY, it's very important to overcome this problem

My boyfriend does this all the time.
Take a few seconds take a deep breath and speak slowly.
Just take your time. Get what you want to say in your head and let it flow but slowly.
My bf gets tongue tied all the time and it doesn't help that he is painfully shy around others. It happens when he's around me too but only when he really wants to say something quickly.

There are some things you can practise:like yiour breathing.
Try to breath by expanding your belly,in stead of your chest.
Then, take your own time to answer to anything. In your own pace.
Don't let anyone pressure you to go faster with your talking.
Practise at home in front of a mirror:it has helped many people,so why not you?
greetings:Rob.

Practise reading loudly. Your eyes probably move thru the words too fast and your brain has to keep going byck the words. read slowly first out loud and then slowly increase the tempo.
