I saw the film clip, a woman with long black hair, a tiny bit chubby in the face, walking through a forest while a few men with white shirts are looking for and digging up a body. It's a gothic-like song and so is the clip. The woman sounded like she said something along the lines of "small mercy, sweet prayer".

you can go to google search and enter evanescence lyrics and sites will load up and then you can read all their songs and hope one sounds familiar.. if not you will probably like the band in the end anyway =)

Try a search for Evervessence (really don`t know how to spell it) but they are a popular/current goth group and seems like she has long black hair.
