I read about how ladies can know how high or low, how soft or hard...but how the heck do you test yourself??? And what does it all mean??

It took me 3 or 4 cycles to really get it down pat, since your cervix position is constantly changing.

If you insert your finger, at the beginning of your cycle, your cervix should be low and firm and you will probably feel it. Each day into your cycle it will move slightly and get softer and start to open, although you probably won't be able to tell. Once you reach ovulation, it will be high, soft and open. If you can't touch it, it's high! After ovulation, it will close, drop down and become firm again. You will probably start to notice the difference as it softens up too. Telling open from closed, takes a lot of learning your own body. But think of a dimple, that's what it should feel like when it's open.

Good luck!
