its probably a throw back from the days of the slave trade when the "white" men would capture "these inferior humans" (I am using the sort of term used as a descriptive at the time or the thoughts of the owners at the time..not my terms).

The slaves would be naked and because of the warmth and their relaxed state the slaves dangly bits would appear to be considerably larger than what the clothed white man believed he had under his garments.

As a result he would develop an inferiority complex that these "inferior humans" were actually not so inferior and subsequently the insecurities have continued to be passed down through time that having a small dangly meant you were inferior in someway....IMHO

But as a lady friend of mine says ...its not the nail that counts but that hammer that pounds it in..............

....But again this hang up could be the reason so many wives/girlfriends cant judge distances and crash cars, because their men keep telling them that

I'm not insecure about my size and my gf tells me I'm BIG. The problem is men think they cant satisfy women with what they have, that's a bunch of crap.
The thing is men watch porn and see all these guys with a surgery enhanced penis and think they are inadequate. Its a bunch of crap, most woman on porn fake orgasm and moaning to make it look good and they are having the best sex of their lives.
So get some self esteem and "ride em hard" they will be happy.

For the same reason so many women are insecure about their breast size.

Many of these people are watching too much television and porn or reading too many Cosmo or other self critique magazine. They are caught in the media hype of the ideal physical appearance. A few people write to a magazine with their idea of a partner and many assume they speak for the entire gender population. Then when people believe they don't fit into that category, they become insecure about themselves and believe they will never find or please another unless they fit in. It's pathetic.

It is an age thing. You must remember that the average age of the contributors to this forum is very young. They still don`t know which way is up. Often they should not even be thinking about sex - let alone participating. What bothers me is the lack of education they seem to have & how concerned they seem to be about irelevant issues (I`m 14 should i shave my balls seems to be a regular occurance)

It is human nature to compare. It is assumed a big one is better. I would prefer to not see another man's junk, but with locker rooms and showers it is impossible. I just don't worry about anyone else but me. who cares if some men have larger members than others.
