By the law of nature, woman shouldn't.
Follow these points however...
1. How long do you know him?
2. Do you really think he is the one? If yes, why?
3. What would you do if you find him cheating?
To propose, just tell him how you feel & LISTEN how he responds. If both of you know each other for a long time, probably he might respond positively & he be too shy to say it first.
The negative effect of woman proposal is the after effects of marriage. 90% of the time the marriage doesn't lasts longer if initiated by women.

OH MY LITTLE LADY(No No No No No)unless if he told her that i want 2 marry u and he came with his family 2 her house and then he get late she can tell him when we will get married and even that is not very nice 4 a girl u know >>>he must look around 4 her maybe he don't want so0o0o0 that's will be shame 4 her

Absolutely! The 50s are over. By that, Men are no longer the sole provider and if a woman feels that she's has a life long partner at her fingertips, by all mean's, go with it! You may regret you never did later.

There is no absolute answer to your question. People respond to a social question like this based on their belief system. I think the fact that you even ask indicates a certain measure of doubt in your mind. You should wait until you have resolved that doubt.

Yes, I don't see a problem with it in this day and time. Females ask males out on dates and sometimes guy's are just really to shy to ask things. So go for it!!!
