Can I just say that my heart goes out to Joanne and that out of everything I have read and including what I was going to say about myself (possibly having lung cancer) she is probably the one who has had the worst experience in the room.
ALTHOUGH, my heart feels heavy for you, I can't stop laughing my *** off..
hahahahahhahaha
You told it so well and it just seemed to flow really great that it read like something from a book! If you have more experiences, please consider putting them together in a book for us. *wink wink wink*
*hugs*
Best wishes!
I hope you are all better now!!!

Went down to our open plan accounts office with loads of people in it, to remonstrate with a person who had been rude to my secretary, not the first time either. The whole office was in total silence, as I went to leave, so I turned, smiled and said alright everyone carry on. Opened the door and walked straight into the stationery cupboard. I had to walk back out and go to the correct door. I come out in a sweat just talking about it.

I've read everyone's answer's about dying and stuff, and mine doesn't come close, but just imagine being me while you read my story.
I broke my leg in three places when I was 15 in a biking accident, it was a pretty big mess, and I was in hospital for a month having surgery. I ended up with a huge metal halo around my leg from ankle to thigh, and it was screwed into my actual bone. It was extremely painful and heavy, and I literally could not move, even sitting up was a night mare, I was also concussed with scrapes on my head and face where I had slid across the gravel while unconsious, broke my collar bone, and lost every piece of skin on both hands and elbows, had a slight impact fracture on my hip,and was generally cut brusied and scraped on every part of my body.
I had no choice but to lie and stare at the television, and occassionaly drift away in a morphine induced haze.
Well there possibley the cutest male nurse in the world looking after me, and as i was a teenage girl, I convinced myself I was in love with him.
I managed through careful planning and sheer bladder control, to never need the bedpan while he was there, but after a few days of stomach pains I eventually had to ask for the bedpan when he was there. There wasn't one there, so while the other nurse pulled the curtain around me, she asked the fit nurse to go and get one for me. 'That's not too bad' I thought, 'I'm a teenage girl, he's not going to stand and watch me go if I've already got a nurse with me'.
Well, the stomach pains were the beginning of servere diahorria induced by the amount of pain killers I was on, and I ended up spraying brown stinky liquid all over the bed before he got there.
And did it stop? Oh no, it was pouring out of me like it would never end. Both nurses just stood watching me in horror.
Oh the shame. They had to get another two nurses to move me and my metal prison onto another bed with wheels, then take me into the bathroom and pretty much just hose me down, and there was no way of doing it without getting the bed soaking too.
Then after I had been rinsed off and put back into place on a clean dry bed, not to mention being redressed like a baby and offered a nappy, the male nurse was given the job of ensuring the halo had no crap on it still, and he was not happy about it at all. I just pretended to have passed out witht he extra morphine I had recieved for being moved around. Oh the shame.
And it doesn't end there. The female nurse who was first there when I had my little accident, had to change my tampon for me a week later. NEVER been on a bike since.

I woke up in a South American Hospital, with a priest giving me my last rights. It wasn't the thought of dying that worried me, it was the priest. You see, I'm an Atheist.

It happened last night. I dropped a whole bottle of wine and smashed it on the floor. No wine for me.
