I'm 19 weeks pregnant and I've been experiencing cramps on the lower right side of my abdomen when I walk every once in a while (for about a month and a half). My doctor said this is normal. However, last night I started experiencing really bad cramps on the whole right side from my rib cage down. The cramps were so bad that I could barely walk. It was not gas and I did not have any spotting, but it lasted through the night. It's better this morning, but the cramping is still there and it continues to be on the whole right side. Is this normal?

I had the same thing with both of my pregnancies. It is probably your ligaments stretching to hold up to growing uterus. Or when your baby curls up in a nice little ball in your ribs or hip or wherever she decides it really hurts like that too. I hope you feel better!

nothing to worry about now is the trimester when the cramps occur. you need more calcium and potassium try a pint of milk before you go to bed because i found that my cramps were in the night sometimes so bad that you cant sleep after. if you dont like milk then get your doctor to prescribe some calcium tablets

Go get checked out...it could be pregnancy related or possilbly not. Either way you will feel better after seeing a doctor.

Doesn't sound good. I would go to the ER for your sake and your babies. Better to go and find out if it is nothing then to wait and find out that you should've gone sooner.

Call your doctor to be sure. It could be many things.

I think you need to be re-examined. It could be what is called "round ligament pain" or it could be your appendix.
