It would depend entirely on how both parties treat each other. Some marriages are good other's are not. It's what 2 people put into a marriage that makes it good or bad.

Both partners have to work to have a good marriage. A bad marriage is one where one person may work hard to build a long lasting happy marriage while the other does nothing.

A successful marriage has to be nurtured by both people in order for it to be a good deal.

From the question it sounds like you might be considering marriage for yourself. If you are looking at it as a deal than you are looking at it totally wrong. It is not a bargain that you make with your spouse. It is a promise and a pledge and the vows say it "In sickness and in health, for better or for worse". You just never know what you will get take it from someone who has now been married for over half their life.

Depends if he marries someone richer than himself who will share her wealth and put out when he wants it would be a good deal. Woman tend to think that after marriage they dont have to put out as much and that what is his is now theirs. Not all woman but many do.

I believe if you can find someone you can truly love and spend the rest of your life with there is no better gift to a man or a woman than a love that cherishes you for the rest of your life.

You gotta be kidding.

No.

Unless you enjoy a basically sexless life of picking out new window treatments at Pottery Barn instead of watching football and getting laid every weekend.
