Kiwi suede cleaner. Look for it by the shoe polish.
You will of course want to test for colorfastness on your boots before you use it, but this is what my husband uses to clean his tan combat boots. The things that stuff took out of his boots was amazing.

I used to work in a shoe repair/cleaning store. The very best thing to clean water stains is with vinegar and water. Saturate a clean cloth with a half and half solution. Wring cloth out thoroughly and rub in one direction on suede. If the stain is other than water stain, we used a large erasure. Make sure erasure is clean and rub away! It works most of the time.
