What is the consensus about straight guys with shaved heads, wearing leather pants (any color, or black in particular being the most common)? Too gay?

I personally think it'd be rather sexy, provided that the individual was not too large.
And as for gay, well, I'm not an expert on what gay men are attracted to, but so long as you wore a reasonable and simple top with the leather, it wouldn't look too gay bar.
And it might just be me, but having the confidence to wear whatever you like in public and then the nonchalance and cool to pull it off is always a good look.

My advice for you to stick to for future references would be that "if you have to ask, then theres your answer"... but from my opinion on the outfit, i would have to say
1. Where are you going? is it a trendy bar? i sure hope so because i cant think of anywhere else it would be appropriate.
2. Whats the shirt like? not leather i hope...
it would definitly look hot with a black button up dress shirt, like a nice Calvin Klein one, or a white one, but nothing else! it might be hotter with a few buttons open depending on the chest hair situation you have going on.. too much hanging out of the shirt is a bad thing.
3. Only wear them in Black or Brown, i do not recommend white, or red, or pink, etc.
also, dont be so worried what other people think because confidence is the sexiest thing a person can wear.

Are you a rock star with an amazing body? If the answer is 'no', I'd suggest staying away from leather pants. Joking aside, unless you're a guy with a LOT of confidence and a great body, I'd skip on them. They can be really hard for guys to carry off. (Gay or straight.)

Leather pants - never look good! Make you look like you have the behind of a cow!
With regards to the looking gay - it does really matter as some of the most masculine men I know are gay, yet camp guy I know is not!

if you feel comfortable and happy to wear leather trousers, then go for it, its your look. and if you pull it off in public, even better!

If you are on stage in a band- Fine.
If you are going shopping or just out in public in general- Way gay.
Sorry. I like to see a straight guy look straight.
