The highest possibility is enlightenment.
Normally, the fear can cause anything between between a safe landing to death (even mid-way, due to fear itself) !

Depends on where you are and the environment. A good exercize for systematic reasoning. i.e. how high a cliff, how strong the gravity (are you in weak gravity..moon), are you tithered? The scenario is endless...and when you get tired of this, do something else or wake up.

You transform to an eagle and fly up and swoop down on the dude that pushed you, with talons extended and grab him by the head and carry him off to a high mountain and feed him to your young.

you fall for a bit, and between pointless and prolonged screams think I hope there's an ocean or a jumping castle underneath. The you land (hopefully in an ocean or a jumping castle) in which case life goes on and you seek vengeance, in any other case it most likely... doesn't, and you're dead.

Poor feet suddenly feel free with the ground slipping from under them and the heart gets a moment's rest by skipping a beat!!

There's more to this question than what it seems. This guy wants us to write him a story. OK I'll give you a story. After I fall, a beautiful fairy catches me in mid-air and places me on the ground. I instantly fall in love with her, but keep quiet about it. I tried to thank her, but she interupted me by saying, "Shhh.... Be quiet!!! you're enemy can still hear you." I looked at the beautiful girl and was dumb-struck at her outshining face. Her body was agile, light and her hair was silky and smooth and blonde. Grolas my enemy was standing and the edge and was looking below and then he left. She then confessed that she flew overhead as she saw me fall. Dazzled by my handsome qualites, she fell in love with me and rescued me. Cassandra (her name) was now an outcast from her magical realm (as magical creatures are forbidden to make contact with the human world) and we lived together, happily ever after.
