I really doubt that we are alone in the universe due to the vast number of star systems in our universe or even in our galaxy. There are many more stars in the universe than every grain of sand on every beach in the world put together. Surely, that raises great possibilities for life to develop elsewhere. I'm sure the chemical processes that led to life on our planet must surely have occured elsewhere and that the formation of water is a rather simple process that could take place in many different environments. If we were alone in the universe, that would make us very unique. Too unique to be possible even. Until we get proof of life on other planets though, there will be no knowing if life exists anywhere nearby. As for UFOs, I seriously doubt that they actually exist. More and more hoaxes are being uncovered every day. But, of course, there are some incidents that can be proven true. We may never know for sure, but once again, only time will tell

At the moment we have absolutely zero evidence except for one place that life can exist. That one place is here on Earth. So that gives us hope that it can happen else where, we just need to find it or more importantly find evidence. I like to think we are not alone but the way life started on Earth I am inclined to think life is rare, at least as far as we have evolved. The universe is a nasty place and we have had several mass extinction's that led to us evolving, that throws some uncertainties into the equation. Speaking of equations, the Drake equation that may get a mention is a tad ambiguous and I think flawed.

In my opinion, we're definitely not alone in the universe. Let's see... In the Milky Way, there are Thousands upon thousands of solar systems, and in this quadrant of the universe alone, there are Billions of galaxies containing billions of planets... I'm positive that at Least one of those planets has some sign of lifeforms!!! And, the universe is STILL expanding!!!

I can't see how it's possible for us to be alone. We might even find other forms of life in our solar system on the moons of jupiter, saturn, and uranus. but to think how many trillions of stars are out there, and most of them have planets orbiting them, which also have moons orbiting the planets, there's just too many possibilities for there not to be life.
think of it this way. if a planet exists about a star, the chances of it being a planet capable of supporting life is like one in a million or less. but there is a million million million million chances. so probability says that there must be life on other planets. probably not in our solar system although that would be cool, but there are billions of suns in our galaxy where there could be life. it just sucks that the closest star is 4 light years away. so even if we can travel the speed of light it takes 4 years to find out if there's life around our closest star.

There is no evidence to suggest that we are not alone. We have detected no non-natural radio waves from any of the nearby stars etc. That's not to say that life does not exist out there, but saying that "it must exist because space is so big" is not proof, it is just conjecture.
There is likewise no definite proof of UFOs containing aliens etc. Just here-say, and media beat ups. Show me a non-fuzzy photograph, please.

All discoveries suggest that there is no intelligent life within about 100 light-years of us. There are 14 billion light-years to go.

UFO's are fantasy.

Yes we are alone. Human creation and in fact all life started on Earth. There is nothing that proves otherwise nor is there anything biblical to suggest otherwise. That is all .. no need to make things complicated.

My opinion is that we are not alone, but anyone else would be so far away that we might as well be.

I don't see any reason for aliens to send UFOs here seeing that it would take thousands of years to travel.
