Both a couple of gems from the past.Ive just bought them on dvd and can say that they are both superb.But the water mater margin edges it for me.Why won't the bbc make something like that instead of the crap it dishes out on e regular basis all politically correct and s**t.

Even after all these years (am now 35) I still try to summon the fluffy little cloud.

Haven't managed it yet though !!!!

Monkey was fantastic. My Aunt Lynne loved it. I don't think she ever saw the Water Margin. My Dad saw that but not Monkey. It was great. A real culture difference.

Ah monkey...class.... i used to stay up and watch it at 3am... i hadn't worked out how to video things by then OK?!!

both good,used to fancy empress tripitaka,but the water margin was better.lin chung and his warriors,& burt kwoks narration...ah so !!
