You need to start treating her like a baby and retrain her- she just sounds confused to me.
Start by letting her out no longer than a leadrope length and have the whip with you- the butt of it by her head and the whip part by her flanks. Tell her firmly to walk on. If she stops, jiggle the whip. If that doesn't work- tap her with it. If that doesn't work- give her a crack. Once she starts moving, say good girl and quit. The reason I said to put the butt of the whip by her head is so if she turns in- jab her a bit on the head so she stays in a circle.
Once she listens to you in the short length (walking AND stopping on command) let her out a bit more and start walking again. If she misbehaves, go back to square one and start over. Once she is good at the walk at the second length, you can start trotting. Make sure she walk, trots, and stops when YOU ask, only. If she stops- jiggle the whip, then tap, then crack (minimal force necssary to get her to do what you want).
You might only have to hit her with it once and then she will realize that you are dominant and are going to make her listen.
I have trained 30 or so horses this way and all of them do what I tell them to, stay out in a circle, and after the initial training, I actually don't need a whip anymore. I carry it, just in case, but usually it is sitting by my side unused,
Any other q's feel free to message.

as long as you have a lunge rope and lunge whip your all set, doing this in a corral is very recomended because it helps the horse keep moving in a circle but if you can get her to start the 1st lap and catch her before she stops take the whip and put a rope extension on the end if needed. Just keep moving the whip behind her back legs. Ok now you, you should be able to stay in one spot and not move a whole lot, just kind of walk at a straight angle to her back hip area, this keeps the horse moving along with using the whip and slightly tap her behind if she stil doesnt move. This should work! Good Luck!

I take it that you have a lunge line and a buggy whip for cuing. If not, you'll need both. Use voice commands and get her started at one gait, go two or three times around. If she begins to slow or stops, quickly step forward and crack the whip on the ground. If needed give a light thwack on her butt. Once you get her to go one or two full rounds at the trot and walk, then have her canter (watch for correct leads in both the front and back legs) for a couple of rounds and stop. The stop should be done soon after you give the command. If it doesn't, it may be necessary to re-train her on some of the basics. Use a second line which is attached to the other side of her halter and comes around her rump. This gives you more control, works a little like driving the horse. Be sure you stop when she has done well. Turn her and get her going the other direction at a walk, canter, trot. Try stopping once in a while to go up to her and pat her. Then continue in the same direction. I like to have my horses stop, stay where they are and let me go to them and praise and pet them. I have them continue going in the same direction for a short while and stop again. This may be the time I have him change directions.
Think about your purpose for lunging. Are you just getting her warmed up or is this the only exercise she is getting? If it's just a warm up, I wouldn't do it as long. It can be pretty boring lunging vs going riding! Have fun! See what works best for you and your pony or horse.

you need 2 people, lunge rope, lunge wip and a horse...
One person 1 leads the horse ( in a walk ) in a close circle round person 2( witch is on the end on the lunge rope.) Person 1 sould widen the circle over time ( moveing outwards )... then persen 2 flicks the wipe to see how th horse respondes to the sound. As the horse gets the idear person 1 moves closer to person 2..if the horse follows p2(peron 2) flick the wipe..p1 push the horse back out n move in closer to p2....as the horse gets the idear take out person 1 and see what happens..

P.s-this does work for me but it hard to explane in writing...i hope you gat the idear though.

you need to join up and gain respect from her start by sending her round in canter and just tap the ground with your whip to remind her to keep going kepp her cantering never look her in the eye and when she loweres her head and starts chewing what looks like air stop turn so your sholders are facing her and hold out your hand with a treat on it when she comes to you not the opposite way round praise her you may have to do this a few times but what your prob is is that she no longer can be bothered
