it should say:
Why is it that you can surf the Internet until 4:30am and not feel tired but if you try to study past 10:00pm you fall asleep?

it's down to pay value.....to you studying is a chore and hard work...brain switches to bored mode easily......wanders off in thought etc...need pizza...need drink....need toilet again........anything to stop yourself working!....that includes falling asleep...the words are not moving..the images are not moving....so you brain goes into sleep mode.......that's why people fall asleed READING in bed!....whereas...the Internet leads the mind on and on and on...stimulation is EVERYWHERE...you start off looking for a bun recipe and end up on a porn page......or you hit a picture link and end up learning how to fix cars!!...it is a wonderful stimulating thing........so hope that has helped!

I find surfing the net more interesting, but trying to study from books and reading how boring is that. I can surf all day long without getting tired, there is so much more on the net that there is in books.

lol. you just told me what I do every night. for me surfing the net is a procrastination method. I get caught up because I find stuff I'm actually interested in, instead of text books, and it keeps me awake and my mind going. I think another part of my problem is self destruction. I know I HAVE to study, so I can't. I get distracted or I fall asleep or whatever. Grrrr. Boy I just realized this is going to be a long semester. lol. good luck!

it is about what you're learning or if you're understanding it. surfing the net is a form of entertainment and whilst it can be very informative , you probably dont use it as a study tool .i would suggest that you are not fully understanding your studies or are not taking sufficient breaks. it is best to study during the day for most people , its when your brain is most efficient depending on your sleep schedule.

Cos when you're surfing the net, I really don't think you're working your brain that hard. But by studying, you're pushing yourself and your brain tires. Surfing the net is fun and a light activity, it really doesn't take that much work!

You body recognises when you are enjoying yourself and feeling stimulated!
It also tries to switch off when you are bored!

Past 10.00 is a very bad time to study ...... better mornings and early afternoon......... Keep your nights free for fun!
