When you have been laying in bed dieing for the last 15 days like my exs' gran mother just did it comes as such a relief she was in such great pain.She was 95 years old though and had a fairly good and active life until she got cancer.Now she can rest peacefully

This is a very difficult question to answer unless you have experienced death and then you couldn't possibly answer could you.
I am presuming that you are asking about the death of someone else.
In this case if someone has been very ill and suffering for a long time and their quality of life is non existent then death would be a good thing for them as they will never have to suffer any more.
Other than that I would choose life and make the most of the great things our world has to offer.

We ended the physical sufferings as well as painful experiences in life.But the best part of it is arriving at our final destination.....our spiritual journey.
