no way, no how. I will explain why. My Aunts husband went to MIT and Harvard at the same time when he was just 16 years old. He is a genius, totally. The smartest person However met. He is kind and simple in his life too. He is eccentric to some extent with long hair and very 1970's clothes that never match. He has $$$, but rides a beat up bike and had the highest security clearance at Rockwell International. If you saw him riding his bike, you'd think he was a homeless bum! He's awesome though. On the other token, my friends sister's BF was at the clubs, dressed to the "T". He is a non-working drug addict that lives off his girlfriend. I though he looked like Howard Hughes! But he was a lowly low-life!

Yes....although you should "never judge a book by it's cover" you can often tell a lot about a person from their appearance. Things such as confidence and self esteem. However, just because a man dresses sloppy doesn't make him a loser. And the fact that you wear a suit, doesn't make you a business man either. Everyone is judged by their appearance. Whether it's fair or not.......whether they want to be or not.

It is wrong to judge anything by its appearance, hence the analogy "Never judge a book by its cover." The cover may be hideous and dilapidated but the contents of the story may be beautiful, inspiring and educational. This philosophy is applicable to anything including a person regardless of gender. A person my be overweight, wearing faded clothing and have unkempt hair. However, this person may be the warmest, friendliest and even smartest person you'll ever meet.

Some people do reflect their character in their clothing. A prostitute dresses sleazy; a doctor generally wears "scrubs;" a teacher is generally neatly dressed; while a mother may wear clothing from casual to dress.

All of us make such first impression judgment... it is another matter that more often than not we discover later that our judgment wasn't quite up to the mark.... but we always do judge from first appearance.

In fact, even when we meet a known person, we note the appearance and try to judge the mood at that time!!

Wise people are few who ignore the appearance and look deeper than at the surface!!

Yes, socially speaking. You can jusge a person by the manner of his grooming which includes his right choice of clothes whether jet setter or simply elegant or the way around. You can judge by the way he speaks in a language and gesture common to certain group of people, the elite, middle class or whichever. And also his deportation.

No you cannot judge someone by the way they look. I have known some people that had lots of money dress very down and out just to keep it secret. I have seen some that dress really good live in a shack. so you see they can have somethings outwardly but its not the reason you like someone. you choose someone for themselves.

Yes you can judge a man by his appearance but one shouldn't because the judgement would be biased. That's the thing about humans, there is always something in them that can't be perceived by just the eyes.

The famous "Sherlock Homes" method has opened up such possibility. The mind has to be able to perceive much more than the eye could see !

That's a very good question.

You've heard that you can't judge a book by it's cover...right? Well if you judge a book by it's cover you are really not looking for what's inside...right? One thing we humans are famous for is preception. Preception is our reality. Project preception.

Yes you can do so by reading his body language. It gives you alot of hints. As for his appearance, what he's wearing could also reveal some of his personality.. But not much i guess.
