Not really. More to the point, he is just another far left socialist, and as such, deserves to be voted out of existence. Liberalism and Islam are similar in that there is no tolerance for a counter point of view to their own. Mohamed, Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao, what the hell is the difference? None, that's what.
Point being, it would not be that he is a danger to the nation because he is a Muslim. Islam is a declared enemy of the USA (their declaration, not mine). We know this, and are prepared for it. Liberalism, on the other hand, is creeping(Fabian) socialism, and far more insidious in that is sneakier. It's kind of a case of die by a bullet, or die of cancer. Yer screwed either way.

There is no doubt as to where you stand by the way you worded the ending. I don't think most people know enough about him to make a decision one way or another.
Your attitude makes Republicans (which I assume you may be) look like racist people who could care less about anything other than skin color and religion.
I prefer to vote based on abilities and background. If someone was raised as a muslim, so be it. I think that in my voting record, I vote for the person, not the fear or hatred of someone else.
Yes, I have voted for Democrats, I would even vote for an independent if they had a decent platform and background.
Don't give everyone a bad rap because of your personal prejudices.

Number one, who cares if he was raised or a practicing Muslim. Since when has the United States started discriminating against religion? Just because he is or was raised in Muslim faith doesn't make him a terrorist. That's like saying that all Christians are crooks like Jimmy Stewart.
Secondly, you've omitted a large portion of the information. If you do a little more digging, you'll find that his parents were actually atheists, but sent him to a Muslim school because it was an excellent school.
A quote from Obama himself, " My mother was much less concerned with me learning my Catechism than she was that I learned my multiplication tables"

Ahh yes the vile Republican practice of "Push Polling"- We don't really want your opinion on an issue, we just want to make sure you heard these lies before you decide about a BLACK candidate for the WHITE House. Same as they did when they push polled S. Carolina Republicans into believing a War Hero fathered an illegitimate black child. If you dont believe me, read this story about the John McCain primary in SC.
http://www.boston.com/news/globe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2004/03/21/the_anatomy_of_a_smear_campaign/
George Bush and his klan of bigots knows no shame when it comes to slamming veterans and genuine war heros, although Bush is a deserter from the Texas National Guard (because he prefered "not to go overseas") in a time of war, and has YET to make up the missed drill dates and formations he's ignored, nor has he reimbursed the government the approximately $250,000 the US Air Force invested in training him to be a pilot. Once he refused his flight status physical, he was removed from active flight status, meaning he never actually flew again for the ANG, and even when he COULD fly, he never actually flew that many planes for either the TX or Alabama ANG untis to which he says he was attached. Despite never completing his term of service in the Texas ANG, he was never prosecuted for his crimes.
You want to talk crime? George W. Bush is this nation's first elected President who was also a convicted felon. While he denies using drugs (because that would make his "family values" platform pretty weak), his own wife Laura admits he used cocaine.
By contrast, Mr Obama came out and admitted his drug use. To use your feeble attempt to pluck at my own bigotry, a Muslim who admitted to cocaine use? Not a very good Muslim, is he? And where are your sources? Which Democratic sources are you (ahem) "quoting"? Who are these all-knowing "observers" who are so terrified a black man may be President they won't even believe him when he says he used drugs?
An impartial polling question would include the fact that Mr Obama attended that madrassa school WHEN HE WAS 12. Do you seriously believe he had a choice about what school he attended? Do YOUR kids have that choice? "Gee Daddy we are going to go to the Catholic School now, instead of Miss Lolly's School of Neo Con Fear Mongering like you did, Daddy"
Then again an impartial polling question would not use the phrase "Does this make you DISLIKE him more. less, blah blah blah... typical Republican "Compassionate Conservativism", you know, minorities should read things such as this, and remember it. Republican conservatives have absolutely no shame in tearing down a person based on their skin color, or over such stupid things as their NAME for God's sake.
Guess we dont have to worry too much about there ever being a President Gonzales then either huh? So much for the OLE AMERICAN DREAM... ANYONE can grow up to be President (as long as you are White, Rich and primarily spend your time in Big Oil's back pocket)
Ahh Ive wasted enough time on you

I have been saying all along...I am voting based on the ISSUES. And so far, Obama's stance is WAY too far to the left for me.
Regarding the Muslim thing...yes, I have to say, in times like these, that will be a troubling issue for many Americans. I think Obama will be wounded by it the way Kerry was wounded by the Swiftboat incident.
Remember, folks, this information is coming out of the Hillary camp. This is the first blow she's delivered, and she hit him square on the jaw. Expect a few more hard hits until she finally knocks him out. I told you this would happen. This is how the Clinton's operate. Obama supporters, watch and worry.

Oh noes! Not a Madrassa!!!!!
You are aware that the word Madrasa means school, right? Obama has said that he went to both Muslim and Catholic schools as a child, because his mom actually cared about his education.

It makes me proud to have been born in the USA where we're taught that freedom of religion is one of our outstanding principles and guaranteed to all citizens. Barak Obama is a US citizen and attends Trinity United Church of Christ. Trinity is predominately black but by no means Muslim. the denomination itself is non-racial as I was raised and married in a United Church of Christ in PA that was all white. Conservatives will go to any length to slander Democrats that they fear may become legitimate candidates for the Presidency. If Obama hadn't come along, all this vituperative nonsense would be thrown at Clinton and there's just no basis for the charges. But when did that ever stop a neocon?

It doesn't change my opinion of him. It obviously didn't do any good. He's far too liberal (if you don't believe me, check out his voting record for Illinois) to be taken seriously if he claimed any religious faith at all. By the way, "Go To Guy," race wasn't mentioned in the question. Besides, Obama is half white.
