There are a number of likely causes of Restless Leg Syndrome.

I suffer from it except mine seems to be a dull ache in the lower legs.

I have been given two different aids for it, both from the same doctor. The first is natural - drink plenty of tonic water an hour or so before going to bed.

The other is to use Ativan, a prescription drug (lorazepam). This is a relaxant and has a second benefit that it will also put you to sleep if the relaxant doesn't work.

Both work for me and it has been some time since I really suffered.

Best of luck.

This will help a lot with pain.
2) Calcium/magnesium supplements. Take 1 per meal. It naturally reduces spasms & cramps while relaxing muscles.

My friend suffers from that really badly, it drives her CRAZY. She finds it helps to put cold water in the bath and sit with her legs in it for a while.
Good luck!
