I crave abilities well beyond the ken of ordinary mortals. Can any of you name a being that might be able to grant me this wish of mine?

If you're looking for supernatural powers -keep going - there are none. However, the powers of logical thinking, clear reasoning and intuitive perception are both possible and well beyond the ken of ordinary mortals.
Feed your brain and you will achieve enlightenment.

Well, "The Secret" DVD has a great bit in it involving an Aladdin-type genie. You might check out that and the Law of Attraction it espouses.

Be careful what you mess with. Thre's only 2 sources of the supernatural and one will take more that he'll give, the other has a plan that might not match yours.

Ahhh ! that rings bells ! even though I am not here at present I was there at some time? Go to Sligo in Ireland. It is called the "Land of Heart's Desire" I may have to go myself because no one is trying to help me and my ferrets here while I'm some Japanese Snakes and Ladders player diposessed of his former self?.They dont care !! Yes go to Hazelwood. Sligo. Its coming back to me now in"Song of wandering Aengus"...." I went out to Hazelwood because a fire was in my head..." I must get out of here. I can't eat balls of stale sticky rice wrapped in bits of bin bag.

You don't need any "entity" my friend. If your heart is in the right place and unselfish, you have the ability to do all of these things yourself. They will not work for selfish gain however, so be warned.
