Because you are getting closer to the end.
But, it's usually because of illness or nagging but minor health problems.

Time goes faster when you are older because in most cases you have had some good times and some bad times. You also live by the clock.there are deadlines that have to be met everyday. The bottom line therefore is that we are too time focused.A child or Young people do not have it that bad.For some it takes an age to reach certain ages for instance waiting for the day when you are of age to start going for driving lessons.Once that point has been reached time seems to speed up.

It is a matter of perception! Time is immutable, 60 minutes is always one hour and 24 hours is always one day. I read an article in a medical journal which put forth a theory that a chemical change takes place in our brains which makes us think that time is going faster, when in fact time remains the same.
Another theory is that everything is moving faster ie: cars, computers, trains, planes, fast food etc. Modern life itself makes us think that time is slipping away. Think about your day and you will find that we are all rushing about taking our children to school, baseball/football/basketball practice, dance class, extra activities, taking carer of household chores, doctor's appointments etc. all in a days activities. Is it any wonder that we come to believe that time seems to go faster?

When you will become really old it will be reversed, the time will stop.
Actually, It is our memory as we can remember so many things of past more than as in our childhood.
A child almost forgets what happened on his/her last birthday so the next birthday looks like it came after a very long period of time.
So it feels time is passing very slow in childhood, faster in getting older but it stops passing when someone gets fully old and he/she has nothing to do.

The busier you are, at any age, the faster time goes. As you get older you have more responsibilities and become more involved in life, therefore, it goes that, time flies by.

Because you start worrying abou it. When you don't think of something, maybe you won't even realize it's happening, but when you think about that too much, and try to avoid it from ending, it seems to go away much faster.

I hope it doesn't - I'm 14 but I guess I'm already noticing that when I'm in school weeks go past pretty quickly. It's scary. AND Christmas has just come and gone again! . . .I suppose it's all about perspective and stuff but you should always try to make the most of your time and don't waste it - it doesn't last forever! <3

I am not sure if it does... perhaps it slows down and at the end of each day the oldie heaves a sigh of relief and utters some prayer that thank God, another day is over. Without a job, the oldie feels as though passing time itself is a tough job!!!

we tends to value time more than before and this could cause
