Or do you see very obvious parallels with the comic book X-Men and USA's "4400"? Your thoughts.

I agree, the similarities to the X-Men are undeniable, especially the way people want to manipulate anyone with special powers. Even so, Heroes has found a very compelling way to package it. I love Hiro, and I can't wait for the next new show, but I'm afraid it could go down the same path that Lost did. (fewer details and more ads with every episode, long gaps between new episodes, etc)

Not at all, but it's very innovative. I can't wait for Monday with the new site and Christopher Eccleston coming on with invisibility. How are they going to pull it off?!!

Another thing about Heroes that's fresh is how likable or intriguing the characters are. Pretty cool show.

There are a lot of similiarites in Heroes and X-Men. My husband pointed this out to me when we were watching it.

Nothing is original ... it is always based on someone else's creation. Creativity died a long time ago unfortunately.
