Hello,

That depends on whether the child is actually working there or just helping out the family business. If the child is not able to go to school because of being forced to work then you must report this to the State Police.

If the child goes to school and works afterwards in the hotel without being forced then that's ok.

You probably should be more concerned about the hundreds of thousands of children that are being forced to work (instead of going to school) in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and China so that you can buy cheap furniture.

Who are you to judge?
Are you married? Do you have children? Do you provide the food on the table? Are you the one to send your children to school? Are you able to give your children shelter or are you staying on the footpath?
Who are you to judge?
Look at that family. Did not the head of that family come to you at the traffic light to your car and beg you for a rupee to feed his child? Did you not close your window and tell him from inside to get lost? Did you not say to your husband that the Government should ban beggars?
And now when the same beggar decides to feed his family; earn money for his family; allow his family to sustain itself because you did not help.
Now YOU are standing in his place at the traffic light but with a placard; "No child labour".
I cannot feed them; but I will also not allow them to work to feed themselves.
LET THEM ALL DIE OF STARVATION.
And now you say. "My only interest is that I be heard. The media is my best bet. Good, they project me to perfection. I want the public to see me as a concerned person, deeply involved with the pain and suffering in this world, and appreciate me. Oh! everyone will appreciate, when I show that I am the one to protect and care for those that I have kicked".
