I understand that it is an 18 month contract you have to sign up to, and there have been problems reported if you intend using P2P software. Link below will give you reviews from many other subscribers.

Im on talk talk broadband, I had problems at the begining when I frst switched over they kept chaging the date, and when I finally got conected i realised they hadn't sent me the software so it took another 14 days for that to come. Only good thing is I get unlimited broadband free as I have there phone service which baring mobile and 08 + 09 numbers give free calls anytime, so we pay £21 a month for the line rental and talk1 packeage a good deal when you think that bt broadband used to cost me £22.99 a month and then I had an average £45 bill a month add that up over the 3 months they give you before sending a bill and you can see why I changed. I have had no problems since being connected though and the service iss always fast and reliable.

I have had talk talk for over a year now, NEVER EVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER!! I thinks its all the luck, some people have problems, some dont!! The only thing is the internet connection seems to drop everynow and then so i had rang them up and they said it will happen whenever they are updating their connection lines. But its not a major problem as all i have to do is turn my modem off and then on again and the connection is back!! It says in the Talk Talk guide that it all depends on how far you live from the main connection point. I live pretty close to it so iv always had a good strong connection!! I do agree with the long waiting times on their tech support, but iv never really had to ring them much so it dont really bother me!!

My Dad told me about 6 months ago that he was going to move to Talk Talk. I said he was daft and should steer clear as I'd heard so many stories about them being crap.

He cancelled his Supanet contract 6 months ago, and Talk Talk finally got their service working LAST WEEK. They tried to blame it on Supanet, but they had released the migration code straightaway - there where a whole load of other excuses.

Now that it's working, he's happy with it - but I couldn't live without Broadband for 6 months.

We had problems with them and found you could never get through to tech services. After 5 weeks we did get through, our call was logged and we were assured someone would call back and sort the problem within 7 days. Heard nothing.
So 3 months with no connection and they had the nerve to keep billing us. Now happy with another company.
I would advise against it but if you go ahead then good luck. Maybe they've learned by their mistakes!
