It depends if man still roams he planet honestly. As far as Im concerned, there may no longer be an earth even after another thousand. It is really hard to tell what is to become of this planet in the next 250,000 years as many species will evolve and become extinct and more intellectually capable species will also evolve Im sure which will spell the end of all humanity....

At The Current Rate Of Decline Linked With Global Warming And The Exponential Population Growth, I'd Say In 250,000 Years It's Quite Possible That Earth Will Either Look Like Mars Does Today Or We Will Be In The Grip Of An Ice Age That Will Have Rendered All Life Extinct And The Planet Will Be Just Another Ball Of Ice Floating In Space!
I Pray That I Am Wrong And We Have Managed To Reverse Some Or Most Of The Damage We Have Already Done!
Have A Gooday And A Bonza 2007!

Assuming that the human race will survive, there would be flying cars, teleportation, telepathic communication, psychic abilities all humans will master like telekinesis, hynotism, clairvoyance. Average human lifespan is about 1000 years old. Earth will be extremely overpopulated, that some people will have to move to the moon and other planets. Our definition of what is an "alien" would change. Now, an "alien" is when a person is a citizen in a different country, which has evolved to someone from different planet. In 250,000 years, an "alien" would probably be someone from a different galaxy. Hopefully we, humans, could meet people like us from different galaxies. I've always thought that there would be a nanotechnology where we could put something really small on our ears and we could listen to music all day, but that could probably happen in the next few decades.
