You may fall if you roll much over in your sleep ;but you will not as you reach the edge you get the premonition to wake up.
but it may happen in very deep sleep especially when you are small...That's the reason why babies, if placed in abed instead of their cot(with sides up) have pillows or support to prevent them from rolling over...they do tend to move around quite a lot.
grown ups do move but only turn over to one side or the other only once or twice may be during their sleep and do so when they are fully aware most of the time.
But of course, individuals differ from each other.

hmm... interesting. Maybe before you go to bed, you set your mind as to where you position yourself in the bed so that for example, when you sleep at the left side of the bed, your brain already know that you shouldn't roll to the left too much, or you'll fall. I take psychology and know for a fact that we don't know even half of what is really happening in our brain so I don't know I'm just guessing.

i used to all the time when i was little and i still do sometimes when im sleeping in a bed i dont know.....but i think we learn as we get older where the edge of the bed is....just like u start to wake up at a certain time even though ur alarm doesnt go off...i think a certain part of ur brain is still awake even though u r asllep....??

That is mostly our unknown conscious that helps us out in most circumstances as that. As we touch the edge of the bed, we immediately move off it and get back to the center. We do not do it by aim, but our unknown senses aware us to move.

Because wen u lay on da bed, it sinks, so wen ya roll over, ya roll over in da 1 spot. the bed sinks so u stay in dat spot. if ya fall out of bed, ya roll over right to the edge of da bed n da further u go, you are out of da bed.

Is it because we don't keep on rolling in the same direction, just back and to.
