A bolt from the sky!! jus'kiddin lol

According to me (what I believe) is that dinosaurs were extinct due to a huge meteor crash called the K-T boundary event.

The asteroid was about 10km (6 miles) in diameter, about the size of Manhattan. Such a large impact would have had approximately the force of 100,000,000,000,000 tons of TNT, i.e. about 2,000,000 times as great as the most powerful H-bomb ever tested.

The Chicxulub Crater buried under Chicxulub on the coast of Yucatan This crater is oval, with an average diameter of about 180km is the crater caused due to that asteroid collision.

It is believed that a meteor crashed into the Yucatan pennisula leading to the demise of the dinosaurs. This is widely accepted due mainly to the thin worldwide layer of iridium, an element found in meteorites at that time horizon. The atmosphere was so polluted that it didn't allow for the sun to penetrate and the earth cooled to a degree where the dinosaurs were unable to sustain life. Only smaller fur bearing animals animals survived, hence the rise of mammels

You have a point. That's one helluvalot of methane gas, and the earth's mean temp did go up higher than we'll ever see. But Al Gore never said that bovine emissions were killing the earth. The United Nations put out that report.
