My first was a girl like the chart said, but my second was suppose to be a boy, and it turned out to be another girl. The charts have a 50/50 chance of being correct. Don't believe in this. I'm now pregnant again, and just for the fun of it, I checked a couple of different websites with the chinese charts and one said I would be having a boy and another said I would have a girl. So what do you think I would have? I think it's anybody's guess. There's only two correct answers, either you choose the correct answer or the wrong one.

When I was pregnant with my first, all the prediction charts and signs indicated that I was carrying a girl - and I had a feeling that it was true. 20 days overdue my boy arrived, but I had been so convinced he was going to be a girl that it took me a week to stop saying 'she'!

I don't think anyone can predict accurately. A friend of mine carried all around her waist with her first child and had a girl, next time she was all high and out the front so we all thought 'boy' but she had another girl.. Just wait and see, it's all part of the fun.

I have always been told that if the belly is high its a girl and ifthe belly is low its a boy LOL. Then again LOL it all depends on the mans sperm and what little boy/girl sperm hits that egg. I have never saw these carts but I'm sure chinese people do follow this but then again just be happy that your having a baby and that your baby is healthy that is all that really matters. good luck to you and your baby :)

We did this for a laugh too. I think it is just based on a 50:50 chance. It was right with my first (a boy) but told me I would have a girl this time and I had a boy. I don't think its something we should take too seriously.

people say that if your bump sticks out a bit, its a boy and if your bump comes around the sides more, its a girl.

it did actually work for me but i think its rubbish.

the Asian charts work by the cycle of when the soy would be fresh, if the pregnant mother ate a lot of it she would take in a over dose of plant estrogen, therefore even if the child was genetically male she would have a little girl as a birth defect, or a heshe, that would get facial hair at puberty..... avoid soy when your pregnant!!!!!!

Leave it alone. Why do you want to spoil the surprise?
