Unfortunately this information is not enough for any people to help you decide on a new video card.

Currently, there are two popularly used video card slots available. They are AGP and PCI-Express.

Since you have a Sempron 2400, which is an old processor, I can only guess that you have an AGP slot because it's also the older video card slot.

Since also AGP video cards are being phased out. You would be even lucky to find a good AGP video card nowadays. You should ask the computer store that you are interested in the fastest AGP card they have.

If you can find an Nvidia Geforce 7 (7300, 7600, 7900) series or ATI X1000 series (X1300 , X1600, X1800) in AGP variant then go buy them immediately, as they are very rare to see in AGP version.

If i'm no longer flawed that amd sempron processor is a unmarried center processor no longer good for gaming, choose a minimum of a twin center processor and that i hate to assert this yet human beings available attempting to bypass the main inexpensive thank you to play a number of those greater moderen video games , it incredibly is truly unlikely to ensue gaming builders make you bypass out and purchase a good ,processor /ram ,image card ,and so on. to play their video games on a workstation.
