Fighting for your ideals is when (a part) of your personal life takes over. You have to be prepared for the sacrifice

Wouldn't it be a bit clearer to state that if one was fighting for one's ideals, then that would be an expression of what one's personal life is?

Even in a 'personal' life, the impulse is towards self-fulfillment, whether that be stopping off at McDonalds to feast on a Big Mac or playing a Mozart Concerto in the car while driving home. I do not see how fighting for one's ideals could be anything but a expression of individuality, and thus something that touches the 'personal' side.

For me, yes. It will be more fulfilling in my part to fight and win over others with my ideals than just to have a personal life. That filling of accomplishment and satisfaction would feel better than the contentment of having a personal life.

That is my opinion, but I do not say that having a personal life is worthless.
