i have been thinkin, with moderate research. regarding that all matter seems to omit or influence electromagnetic fields especially living organisms, is it possible that the human body acts as a large inductor, as the endless nerve windings of the central nervous system using chemical reactions and polarity to function by electronic pulses emits an electromagnetic field surrounding our bodies much like an inductor. we know that when two inductors are placed within each other's EMF they influence and act upon each other. could this be what happens between people? what mystics and psychics call our aura is actually our own EMF? if this could be true, then could some people unconscously harness the subtle power of our own EMFs? could this be why some people seem to feed off of other people's emotions? its out there i know, but sometimes i just have to wonder about stuff like this...
what do you think?

Hi bud,
The responces you get will be hostile I bet.
But don't blame them too much.
Electricity was considered sorcery to people back in the day.
Someday we will laugh at the people that thought these ideas 'out there' also.
Read the Kybalion...
This book will (hopefully) explain to you why you suspect we are consiously or unconsciously effecting our environment.
You see all is mind.
The All in All is in the mind of God.
We are all mental energy.
Matter is energy vibrating on a very low frequency, but it is energy none the less.
Once we discover a few things about ourselves and our relationship with the universe the barrier between mind and matter will begin to deteriorate.

So ur saying that each of us gives out electromagnetic fields that interacts with the EMFs of other people which causes emotional changes??
Hmm interesting theory.. but lets see.. If my presence makes Mr. X happy and Mr. Y sad because of our EMF interactions.. then it should happen the same way at all times i.e. to say Jennifer Anniston should always be happy to see Brad Pitt no matter what Brad did (sorry I'm still hung up on that) Hey dont get me wrong.. I aint critisizing ur hypothesis.. I'm juz saying there are some flaws which u might wanna work on to make it foolproof..
Ok lets say A iand B are giving out their field lines.. When these interact, there will be mutual induction.. right? So If I wind a coil around me and wind a coil around you..and we come together.. our field lines should interact such that current is produced in the coils wound around us...
Wow!! you might be on to something there.. Maybe we should experiment on what happens when we come together! Where do u live?
Ok based on ur theory.. I have something else to say..We studied in A level physics that every body (no matter what size it is) has its own centre of gravity and therefore exerts a mutual gravitational pull on other bodies around it.. maybe your theory could also be applied to gravitational field lines given off by each person.. wherein the field lines of two people could interact and explain attraction or repulsion between the two..

Experiments have been done where an EMF was generated around subjects brains and they had the sensation of being in the presence of ghosts or aliens or even God.
Clearly we are affected to some degree by EMF's.
PS: try some google searches re. this experiment. The details are FASCINATING!!!

Our nerve cells operate by exchanging sodium and potassium solutions, and it so happens that this operation creates a bit of an electric current in the vicinity. An electric current will produce a changing electric field and a changing magnetic field, and so nerve activity produces electromagnetic activity in the immediate area.
However, except for the heat receptors in our skin and the light receptors in our retina, our bodies are, thankfully, insensitive to electromagnetic activity both inside and out. So I'm afraid that my good thoughts will be of little benefit to you unless I transfer them to you by other means, e.g., this one.

Have you seen What the Bleep Do We Know? You might like it, and it talks about theories like your own. A lot of it is talking about the energy we create and emit just by the nature of our thoughts, and how that energy affects our own life and the life around us.

Good reply by Thinker.
The ''question''is nothing else than a mix of badly digested physics terms that amount to a complete nonsense.
Try to get a good science background !!!!

we all have electromagnetic fields around our bodies. That fields represent our emotions and thoughts. That fields can mixxed only by certain people ; healer, psi vampires....etc.
sorry, you didn't find anything new...Nice point however, xxx

Obviously you need to get a date and subject your theory to some practical testing.
