Organic means natural. Other types of fertilizer are chemical, man-made. Organic fertilizer may be a dead fish placed in the corn field. It may be bat guano. It may be animal manure or fish emulsion.

Organic fertilisers are made of exactly that, material that is organic and totally natural.
For instance chicken manure that can be purchased in a pelleted form like Dynamic Lifter.Any other manures like Horse manure, cow manure. You can even buy a product here call Zoo Poo, can only guess what that is made up of.
It can also be made up of fish emulsion. It usually does not have additives of any kind unlike your normal fertilisers(osmocote, nutricote) that are your slow release type.
