Be kind, caring and understanding, sit with her, let her vent and cry if need be (while secretly thinking of my Vulcan emotional blockage training and how I can get a cup of tea and some toast without seeming un-caring)

I usually talk to her about whats going on and try to lend an ear. I talk to her about what the issue is and a plan of action, its makes her feel better.
