I'm betting you have very intense, vivid dreams. I know I do, and had the problem of urinating in my sleep in my teens. I would wake up, walk down the hall, through the dining room, to the bathroom, turn on the light, and do my business- then wake up and still be in bed.. Some medications cause these vivid dreams, one thing you can do is put barriers in your dreams subconciously--like the bathroom door is locked, or someone is in there, anything that keeps you from release--and causing you to wake up. It is really frustrating, but controlling the dreams, if you are having the problem that way, does help. You may dream of going into a public restroom to use a urinal--but you realize you can't because they are all occupied. You can make some subconcious suggestions, and they do work. Good luck!

Bedwetting is not something that is under a person's voluntary control. It is a medical issue, and it is important to find out why it is happening.
I suggest the person see a Urologist for help.
