Pure silicone spray (hardware store), it's water proof, and cleans without staining, use it outside to clean the clothes as the overspray may land on the floor making it very slippery.

Warm, soapy water (use something like soap flakes, not detergents)

Sponge carefully.

"Rinse" with a clean, wet cloth and wipe of the excess with a dry cloth.

Hang somewhere warm, but not near direct heat.

You may want to "polish" the item when dry.

Poly vinyl chloride? same stuff they make pipes out of. Alcohol should work.
